We have a new addition from 2010, and that's the cage match between Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson at Lockdown in TNA this past Sunday. After watching the match four times now I feel confident in the rating I've given it, and I'm going to go out on a limb and stand by it. Amazing match.

Another new addition from 2010 has been added, and that's the bout between Kenny Omega and Davey Richards at PWG "As the Worm Turns" on February 27th, 2010 for the PWG World Heavyweight title. Unbelievable action from these two, literally one of the hardest-hitting matches I've ever seen in my life, hard to believe two guys could take that much punishment in a ring and keep getting up. Going out on a limb and awarding it five stars. I just don't see how it could have been improved upon.

Hi man, how you're doing?

Just saw your rating about the match between Kenny Omega and Davey Richards, at "indies" post and came here to confirm if it was really the right rating ^^

Really, another ***** in 2010? That match was that good? That's just great! I think i'll see it right now!

Take care.

Well, I didn't see that particular match between Kenny Omega and Davey Richards at PWG.

Instead, I've saw their match at ROH: Epic Encounter (it was the main-event) and let me tell you, it was a damn great match right there.

Considering that you've seen their first bout in 2010, i think that you would like to see this one too ^^

Take care.

Great well balanced list, one question though.A question I often ask is why didnt you include HHH vs. HBK vs. Beniot? Also howcome no Kobashi vs. Joe? Im not disliking your list infact, I think its well balanced just asking because, just from my perspective I dont understand why not.

I love both of those matches, don't get me wrong, they're both incredible but I wouldn't go past ****1/2 for either of them. ****1/2 is nothing to complain about though obviously, both were phenomenal matches but they both never seemed to quite click into that 5 star "this match is basically perfect" territory.

I'm a huge Kobashi mark too, so it shocked me that I didn't rate his match with Joe at 5 stars too, as I was expecting to go the full monty for that match but couldn't quite bring myself to. Kobashi had a few better matches that year actually back in Japan.

Thanks for reading and commenting though man!

We have a new addition to the bunch, as I decided today after a third and final viewing of Money in the Bank that I was going to go the full five stars for Punk/Cena. I think of a few other matches I've given five stars to, like Joe/Punk II, and I felt it was just as good and honestly probably even a tiny bit better than that match, so I had to go five stars here.

Now hopefully the John Cena haters will be put to rest now that he has a five star match under his belt. He held his own in that amazing contest with CM Punk, don't forget that. Punk just keeps delivering the goods as always though. He's possibly the single best wrestler on the face of the planet today.
